Welcome to Briefshot (“Briefshot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Briefshot mobile application (the “App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your use of the app
2.1 License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
2.2 Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App.

3. User content
3.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or submit within the App (“User Content”).
3.2 License to Briefshot
By using the App, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. We do not claim ownership over your content.
3.3 Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring:
- Your User Content does not infringe the rights of others.
- You have the necessary permissions for all materials you upload.
- Your use of the App complies with applicable laws.
4. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party services
The App may include links to or integrations with third-party services. We are not responsible for:
- The availability or accuracy of third-party services
- The content, products, or practices of third parties
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App ends
- Certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply (e.g., Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability)
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
- Your content will not be lost or corrupted
- The App will meet your expectations
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briefshot and its developers, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
- Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App
Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the App will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the App.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Briefshot and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
